Last year I went to ClexaCon as a fangirl. It was a great time, but this year things will be different. I'm actually on the freaking agenda! That's right, I'm attending as an author.

Okay, fine. Author/fangirl. I can be both.

I'll be on a panel called "Romance Between the (Book) Covers" with Melissa Brayden, Carsen Taite, Kris Bryant and Georgia Beers. The amazing Barbara Ann Wright

will moderate and keep us all in check.

We'll talk about how TV and movies influence us and how awesome it is to write about women loving women. Because it is. So awesome.

Oh, and you know what else? My next book, The Road to Madison, won't be out until May 1... unless you're at ClexaCon. Copies will be available at the Bold Strokes booth. Rumor has it I'm not the only author with advance copies for sale, so definitely check it out if you can.

Okay. Bottom line: If you're in Vegas for ClexaCon, come say hi. You can find me at the panel, the BSB booth or a video poker machine. You know, just because it's a convenient place to sit.

I'll be headed to Provincetown with all of the awesome folks at Bold Strokes Books. I have no idea what to expect. Why the mystery? I've never been to Women's Week. Or Provincetown for that matter. From what I hear, it's readings, signings and lots of women. What's not to love?

I'm going to be at the Golden Crown Literary Society's annual conference in Vegas. Not my first trip to Vegas, but it is my first time at GCLS. Yes, I'm a GCLS virgin! I'm super excited for two reasons. The first is I'm a big fan of lesfic. I read a lot of it and I'm pretty psyched to fangirl a bit. And then there's the second reason...

Casting Lacey is a finalist in the long, sexy, slow-burn romance category. I still can't believe it. I'm also paraphrasing the name of the category, but I've read some of the other finalists' books and "long, sexy, slow-burn romance" is apt.

All of that to say, I'm going to be at GCLS. If you're there too, I hope you'll say hi!
